Shows in Paris 2026: Guide to Cabaret (Moulin Rouge) and Performances

When I am asked how to spend the evening inParis I immediately recommend going to stand on the Alexander III Bridge, Von Nef או Bridge of the Arts, look at the glittering Eiffel Tower for a few minutes and then…go to sleep (after Good dinner Of course.) It may sound quite boring, but after walking more than ten kilometers every day on endless journeys to discover the secrets of the City of Lights, there is nothing more fun than spending the night in an exceptionally soft and comfortable bed.

But for those who were wise enough to preserve their powers (which is not easy since there is so much to To walk in Paris) The City of Lights can offer a wide variety of shows, cabarets, and plays. It is precisely for such people that I have collected the best night shows in Paris, from the famous Moulin Rouge to less famous shows, hidden gems in Montmartre, and fine dinner shows.

So put on your jacket or evening gown, spritz on some perfume, and we're off to our list of cabaret shows in Paris!

Cabaret in Paris: Questions and Answers

Is it recommended to buy a ticket for a cabaret show with dinner?
Dinner at shows is reasonable, sometimes even delicious, but don't expect an amazing culinary experience. On the other hand, those who book a show + dinner get the best seats, while those who book a ticket that includes just a drink or a ticket to the show only will get the less good seats.
Is it possible to take children to a cabaret show in Paris?
If you have small children, the classic cabarets (like Crazy Horse) are less suitable due to partial nudity. The exception is Paradis Latin, which offers a special midday show (“Mon Premier Cabaret”) without nudity and with an emphasis on acrobatics, which is very suitable for families!
What should you wear when going to a cabaret in Paris?
You’ll be happy to know that the days when you wouldn’t be allowed in without a suit and tie are long gone. However, most places still require “smart casual” attire. Avoid flip-flops, shorts, and sportswear. Dark jeans and a button-down shirt will do the trick.
Is it possible to take pictures during the show?
In the vast majority of cabarets (especially Moulin Rouge and Crazy Horse) **photography is strictly prohibited**, even on a cell phone. The staff is very strict about this and may ask you to leave if you take pictures. In places like Paradis Latin the rules are a little more flexible, but it's always worth asking.

    • Hi Ravit.

As much time as possible in advance because tickets for popular shows sell out quickly.

  1. It's a lot, literally rich. To be honest, I didn't search your site much, and maybe it exists. There are many musical tours in Paris. What about that? There are places with "authentic" music, and of course they are lost. There are singing clubs like "Lafayette Agile," which is commercialized but worth it. Are there others? Is there some kind of singing festival in Paris where there is a choir or singers on every street corner? When is that? My dream is to sing on the streets of Paris for all the wrong reasons. Where is it recommended to do it? Maybe in romantic places bustling with people without the police expelling me. "Poe Mirbeau"? With the famous song. It may sound a bit suburban, but I'm looking for places with children's songs other than YouTube. There I get flashbacks, which is a special experience.
I enjoyed wandering through your sophisticated and excellent site, especially in the places embedded with interesting musical demonstrations. Continue to innovate and add more delicacies in this welcome way. Thank you.

    • Hello Jacob,

Thanks for the compliment. Regarding what you asked, it's a good question that requires a little research from me. I'll try to do that in the near future and write an article.

      • As usual, I enjoyed your articles. Although we are in the Corona period, we continue to miss the beautiful and exciting places. I would also be very happy if you could write about small and interesting places, such as Monfred Market (maybe I got the name wrong), interesting markets and chanson clubs. Thank you.

  3. Hey Zvi
Looking for a recommendation for a French chanson or jazz concert in Paris on November 13, 14, 15. My hotel is near Pont Neuf and I've already been to a cute jazz club there... I'm alone so the recommendation should be suitable for a mature woman who is interested in music.

    Thanks
