The thinking man

Located inside an ancient palace and surrounded by a large garden where some of Rodin's works were placed. Among them is "The Thinking Man," which gained worldwide fame.
Here, at the feet of this wonderful statue, one of your partner's happiest moments can occur. The amount of energy bubbling from the statue is enormous, and one can also get the impression that Rodin, in his most famous statue, succeeded in creating an expression of movement and emotion in bronze. The amount of interest and curiosity that this statue generates among museum visitors is quite high, but after learning about Rodin's words in connection with the statue, interest in it increases even more - Rodin explained at the time:
What makes the 'thinking man' think is the fact that he thinks not only with his brain, with his frowning eyebrows, with his flared nostrils and pursed lips, but with every muscle of his hands and arms, his legs and back, with his clenched fists and clenched toes.
In connection with Rodin's words, Roy Williams, author of the book, "The Secret Formulas of the Advertising Wizard" (Ahiasaph Publishing, 2002), says that there is electricity in words. Powerful words, in unusual combinations, illuminate the mind with precious light, and that our world revolves around the power of the word. Indeed, "Words are the most powerful drug consumed by mankind," as Rudyard Kipling, an English writer and poet who wrote, among other things, "The Jungle Book," wrote.
Where do we continue from here? For a lovers' walk on the most beautiful bridge in the city, which is a short walk from the museum – Alexander III Bridge.
Peace Wall

Metro: ECOLE MILITAIRE
The Peace Wall is a relatively new site that was established in 2000 in the XNUMXth arrondissement opposite the impressive L'ECOLE MILITAIRE building and near the UNESCO building.

Wish notes can be left on the site, with inspiration for this taken from the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
The view towards the past Eiffel Tower Makes the place very special. The message of peace that emerges from the site will be appropriate for the proposal for the beginning of your shared future.
Where do we continue from here? A short walk along the lawns of the CHAMP DE MARS to the foot of the Eiffel Tower, and from there we cross the river and go up to the viewing terrace of the Chaillot Palace, from where we can enjoy one of the most spectacular views in the City of Lights.
The Wall of Love

The special wall has become a place of pilgrimage for couples in love who hug and kiss at its feet. It is also very suitable for your needs. There is no need to even learn how to propose in French.
And what happens next? There is no dilemma here at all – we go up the hill andTouring the romantic alleys of Montmartre.
ARENES DE LUTECE

The next arena where it is recommended to open champagne is located in the 10,000th arrondissement and is called ARENES DE LUTECE – this is a Roman amphitheater from the XNUMXnd century. In the distant past, it held XNUMX people who watched gladiator fights. Today, it is used by the children of the area and the students in the area as a football and volleyball field.
The entrances to this free arena are located at: RUE MONGE and RUE NAVARRE, and your generous contributions to establish contact can be made at two different points – one in the center of the circular field, and the other up the bleachers overlooking the arena.
After you have received a positive answer and the initial excitement has passed, you continue from here for a pleasant walk to the nearby magnificent plant garden, the JARDIN DES PLANTES.
The Garden of the Hotel de Ville

Metro HOTEL DE VILLE
A very quiet and quite intimate place that would be suitable for first releasing your declaration of intentions regarding your shared future is the Garden of the Hotel de Ville – JARDIN DE L'HOTEL DE VILLE – This small and unknown garden is located next to the southern wall of the city hall, the one closest to the river, and is intended only for non-smokers.
Paris City Hall Located at the eastern end of Rue Rivoli, it is one of the most impressive buildings in the city, and perhaps in Europe in general. On the facade of the building are 146 statues of famous people and cities. France, and inside it is a large ballroom and reception rooms rich in luxurious crystal chandeliers and unique wood carvings. The building overlooks a beautiful and very well-kept plaza that attracts a lot of attention and leaves the adjacent garden quiet and deserted for the most part.
Where do we continue from here? For a tour of the charming streets of Le Marais District Which is a short walk away.
ARSENAL

Metro: BASTILLE
Although this is quite surprising, Paris is a “port city” thanks to a port that was once surrounded by marshes – it is a small port, or if you prefer a kind of marina, located near the Place de la Bastille at the back of the building. The new opera.
Even though it is a port, you don’t have to sail here on a luxurious yacht to say “Will you marry me?” Just go down the wide steps leading to the pier where you will discover a variety of beautiful ships and yachts, some of which are used as residences, as well as a row of (relatively expensive) restaurants overlooking the unique view of the bustling Paris around. The place called ARSENAL is pleasant and quiet, and more suitable for a provincial town than the French capital.
Did you get a positive answer? Continue from here for a walk along the VIADUC DES ARTS and the planted promenade. The promenade known as the “green route” LA COULEE VERTE begins on DAUMENSIL Street behind the new Opera building and extends for over 4 km to the Bois de Vincennes. Of course, you don’t have to walk the entire length and every few hundred meters there is a staircase where you can go down to road level where you can enjoy a variety of galleries, design shops and workshops.
Square Rene Viviani

Metro: ST-MICHEL
The oldest tree in Paris is located in the Square Rene Viviani opposite Notre Dame Cathedral, near the legendary Shakespeare and Company bookstore. Given the extreme age of the tree, which was planted in 1601, it is now supported by concrete stilts.
To ask the crushing question: Veux-tu m'epouser (in easy Hebrew: "Will you marry me?") you don't have to stick to the old tree, you can focus on all sorts of cute corners in this tiny and special garden, such as under the arch of plants in the center of the attached photo with the magnificent and impressive church in the background.
Where do you go from here? From the central point where you are, the sky is the limit – choose from three excellent options: A trip to the Luxembourg Gardens, Or A trip to the Ile-de-la-Cite, or just a fun stroll along the river.
Fürstenberg Square

Metro: SAINT GERMAIN DES PRES (You must bypass the church via RUE DE L'ABBEYE)
Maximum excitement when pulling out the ring can be obtained in a tiny, modest and simple place in the 6th arrondissement – Fürstenberg SquareSome exaggerate and describe it as an amazing romantic gem taken from a surreal world.
Personally, I don't entirely agree with these descriptions and the extraordinary admiration for the beauty of the place. I placed the square mainly to prevent my Francophile friends from saying: "You forgot the most romantic place in the city." In any case, this small square is named after Cardinal Egon de Fürstenberg, who was the abbot of Saint-Germain-des-Prés It contains four trees and an elegant lantern that adds a romantic touch to the place, so it is recommended to perform the exciting ceremony in the evening when the lanterns are already lit. The square also houses a small museum of the painter Delacroix, who lived there.
What can you do later in the evening? Just wander around the magnificent alleys of Saint-Germain-en-Laye at your leisure. The restaurants, the pubs And the cafes.
Statue of Liberty

Metro: CHARLES MICHELS or JAVEL
Did you know that Paris has its own Statue of Liberty? It is located right in the middle of the Seine River at the end of a promenade called “Swan Island” – ALLEE DES CYGNES – south of the Eiffel Tower, near the PONT DE GRENELLE bridge in a place where tourists don’t flock to it as much.
It is not a real island, it is actually an artificial path built on the water (in 1827). The face of the statue faces west, towards the original Statue of Liberty in New York. The place is quite picturesque and romantic and is a favorite destination for bride and groom photos at sunset with the river and the Eiffel Tower in the background. Therefore, kneeling at the feet of the statue and asking for your beloved's hand is a definitely worthy option.
Opposite the Statue of Liberty, you can see the large, round building of Radio France and, on the other side of the Seine, the FRONT DE SEINE – American-style skyscrapers, luxury hotels of the best contemporary architecture, a private yacht marina, and the BEAUGRENELLE shopping center.
What to do next? Here you can choose between two options: one to walk along the Swan Island to the PONT DE BIR HAKEIM bridge, and the other to explore the16th District The luxurious one located right next door.
Canal Saint-Martin

CANAL ST MARTIN is a water canal that has not, for some reason, received an extensive review in the professional literature about the city, but it certainly constitutes a pleasant and romantic sightseeing environment that is suitable for the exciting task that our article deals with.
The canal, which opened in 1825, stretches over 4 km from the marina at Arsenal to La Villette in the north of the city. It is generally used by barges carrying goods and mainly by tourist boats passing between the dams under old metal bridges. Interestingly, in some places the water level is lower than in other parts, and when a ship approaches, a game of “combining vessels” takes place.
When, by opening and closing iron bridges, the water level is balanced and the navigation path is paved. On both sides of the canal are tall, well-kept trees that create a very peaceful and pleasant pastoral atmosphere. This is perhaps why the canal was chosen as a location for the filming of several films, including the well-known film “Hotel du Nord.”
How to get to the canal? I recommend two options: one, go to the GARE DE LEST metro station and when you exit with your back to the station, all the streets on your left lead on foot a few minutes walk to the edge of the canal. Another option is to get to the metro: REPUBLIQE, at the square enter RUE DU FAUBOURG DU TEMPLE and a short walk will take you to the canal on your left.
Where do you go next after your loved one nods in the affirmative? Simply stroll along the canal for your own enjoyment.
Champs-Elysées Gardens

Metro: FRANKLIN ROOSEVELT או CONCORDE
When you think about the avenue ofChamps-Elysees When you think of the famous Champs-Elysées, you imagine luxurious shops, arcades, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, crowds of tourists and lots of cars. But there is also another Champs-Elysées. Quiet, pleasant, green and romantic. I mean the Jardins des Champs-Elysées – the gardens of the avenue that extend from the Rond Point to thePlace de la Concorde.
When you have your back to Arc de TriompheWander along the left side of the avenue and you will soon find many spots suitable for the long-awaited ceremony that will surely end in tears of excitement. One of the best options is by the beautiful fountain in the picture.
The gardens were redesigned in the 19th century in an English style. You will find several fountains, pavilions, theaters, and luxury restaurants surrounded by greenery. The French writer of Jewish origin, Marcel Proust, known as the author of the book “In Search of Lost Time,” used to stay here for long periods in his youth.
Where will you go from here? Either go party in one of the luxurious cafes of the Champs-Elysees, or go relax for a while. In the Tuileries Gardens The charming ones across from Place de la Concorde.
Chaillot Palace

Metro: TROCADERO
If someone were to ask me to lead them, with their eyes closed, to a special site and choose for them the right to have the first view of Paris, there is no doubt that I would lead them in the dark to a view of the Eiffel Tower from the Chaillot Palace square.
If there is a place that can be described as “breathtaking,” this is it. It is the most impressive view of the Eiffel Tower and an ideal place to hold the long-awaited ceremony that is about to change your life.
The palace itself serves, among other things, as a theater and a number of lodgings. MuseumsThere is currently no need or necessity to visit them – your goal is the stunning view of the Eiffel Tower and its surroundings from this strategic location.
After you're done, descend the steps to the Trocadero Gardens, which are just below you and lead towards the Seine River and the Eiffel Tower. The gardens, the pond, the statues, the fountains and the powerful and colorful water cannons create an incredible sight at dusk. The fountains are not always on, but when they are on against the backdrop of the tower, it is one of the best shows in the city. Stroll through the gardens to the river, cross the bridge and you will find yourself at the foot of the tower. Look up and up. The view is powerful and rare.
