First, let me start by saying that I am a vegan (glutton) with quite a high mileage. I know and have sampled most of the good vegan restaurants and dishes in Israel and in London – the city where I have lived for the past few years. In addition, I travel the world every few months and often choose a destination for my next vacation based on its level of veganism, so my standards are very high. Paris It is, of course, my favorite destination, so I return again and again (and again). My name is Moran, and I am also a Francophile!
A few words about veganism in Paris: I often read posts in various vegan groups about people who returned from a visit to their beloved city and couldn't find anything to eat. This is a real scandal! Because the selection of places is truly wide and varied and only grows and develops over time. Only recently have a number of new and intriguing places opened, and of course I will visit them on my next visit.
I do agree that the road to a full (and satisfying) stomach in Paris must be through 100% vegan or at least vegetarian restaurants. Anyone looking for vegan food in a typical French bistro, for example, beyond salad and fries, will probably not find it and will return home frustrated. So yes, it is recommended to mark restaurants in advance and plan your wanderings around according to the times you want to eat, it is definitely worth the 'hassle'.
All the recommendations here are about places I visit every time I go to the City of Lights. In addition to good food, atmosphere is also very important to me, so enjoyment is guaranteed.
Cloud Cakes

A cute little place in the center of Paris, very popular with young local hipsters. On the menu: excellent coffee by Parisian standards, croissants, toasts and very decadent layer cakes. It's not for nothing that the word 'cloud' is mentioned in the name of the place, as they are heavenly - soft and fluffy. The cakes usually change daily, so try not to get attached to a particular flavor, chances are it won't be there when you come back the next day. Trust me - you're going to come back!

The Marais Vegetable Garden

How difficult it is to be a vegan in a culinary city like Paris, with the smell of buttery dishes and limited portions of wine emanating from everywhere… But fear not! Because the potager Marais The solutions. A menu that is entirely a hymn to traditional French cuisine; from artichoke cream, through 'meat' and mushroom stew in red wine to warm 'mozzarella' salad. Personally, my favorite is the onion soup.
It should be noted that the portions are very generous, so start with just 2 dishes and test your appetite afterwards because it really is a waste of money. This has happened to me too many times. It is highly recommended and even mandatory to reserve a table in advance, as the place is small and the number of seats is limited.

A traditional French bistro – vegan?! There is such a thing! I know the raves about Brasserie Lola (Yid) are real and strong, but you’ll be happy to know that there is another place by the same owners, with a different name and in a very central location. And the menu? The exact same menu. Risotto, pizza, salads, burgers Cheese, French fries.. or in short – happiness!
A menu that in my opinion is best suited for lunch with a glass of sweet rosé in a particularly young and happy atmosphere. Here too, the portions are large and generous, so don't make any big plans afterwards, there's a good chance you'll want to lay your head on some Parisian lawn with a goofy smile after such a satisfying meal. And that's before dessert!

Charlotte's Vegetable Garden

A relatively new and very refreshing place in the vegan scene in the city. Their use of fresh ingredients and spices, to create colorful dishes and surprising textures - is genius. The place was opened by 2 young vegan brothers who were very happy to hear that I was from Israel, and even tried to impress by saying that one of them had visited Israel to get culinary inspiration. There is a great brunch menu, and everything I ordered was nothing short of perfect.
It is recommended to reserve seats in advance.

VG Pâtisserie

Authentic French patisserie, 100% vegan – strictly speaking. There’s really no need to add to that, right?!
Maybe I'll just add one tiny detail – get there early! These mesmerizing creations are snapped up quickly, and rightly so.

I'll end with a recommendation for a particularly worthwhile store/cafe/grocery. Everything there is vegan and the selection is impressive. You can find, among other things, clothing, footwear, cosmetic products, and even vegan food for your pet. The cafe that operates there has a limited selection of dishes, but with 'Beyond Burger' on the menu - you really don't need more than that. The highlight of the place is without a doubt - the cheese fridge!
A crazy selection of extremely successful vegan cheeses, including stinky mold cheeses, and this comes from a fan of the genre since before my vegan days.
My personal recommendation; Buy some cheeses, baguettes at your favorite bakery, and wine of course, and have a picnic in the nearby Place des Vosges park or on the banks of the Seine River - just like true French people.
