As a tribute to one of my favorite content sites, as a stylist who organizes fashion tours and personal styling in Paris and a staunch Francophile myself, I took it upon myself to compile an article for you in which you will find a list of outlets in Paris where you can find great evening dresses right in the center of the City of Lights without having to go to the more distant suburbs.
My reviews and recommendations are "first-hand" recommendations, and have been compiled into a list as detailed as possible, cataloging stores that I know personally, in a wide range of prices and styles.
As a local Parisian stylist, it is very important to me to check for you that in these stores you can really find lovely dresses at attractive prices, that are arranged in a way that does not require prolonged and exhausting searching, and especially of uncompromising quality.
The following article is part one of three, which will guide you with a list of addresses, along with additional tips woven into the article itself, that will save you valuable time on useless wandering (since your visit to the city is limited in time), unnecessary financial expenditure, and most importantly, will help you find exactly what you are looking for.
So what's the deal with outlets in Paris?
Most Parisian brands run these stores, where items from previous seasons (sometimes 3-4 seasons ago) are offered for sale, remnants of previous season sales, or items with minor defects that somehow found their way into the bins of outlet stores. Before I start telling you about recommended outlets in Paris, here are some very important tips:
Have you entered an outlet in Paris? Start at the end!
In most stock stores, you will find the dresses relevant to the (European) season at the front of the store, while the items at more attractive prices will be found in the back and almost hidden part of the store, and usually, always on sale for 3 for the price of 2, or a complete look of heels, a dress and a handbag at a perfect price.
“Fashion is a passing thing, good taste remains forever!” – Gabrielle (Coco) Chanel
As anywhere in the world, in Paris, the saleswomen will try to convince you to buy this or that item, which they usually try to get rid of before the end of the season. Try not to break under the pressure, it is important to remember that what is trendy and modern now, does not apply to evening dresses, which usually need to be classic and serve you for several seasons to come.
Focus on classic dresses and think ahead
I recommend that you focus on more classic dresses, made from fabrics that are compatible with the climate in Israel, in cuts and colors that will suit you for more than one specific event. In most of the stock stores, you will find items that do not match the season: such as wool dresses in the middle of summer, or light silk and chiffon dresses during the winter. It is important to remember that the European winter and summer are different from the Israeli winter and summer, and so are the fabrics, so it is worth thinking ahead.
Another tip: Even if you came to Paris for shopping during the winter, it would be wise to purchase a quality dress at a bargain price that will last 2-3 seasons.
Just before paying at the checkout, carefully inspect the garment and accompanying accessories.
Carefully skim the garment, pay attention to defects – stock stores try to get rid of models that were not sold in chain stores during the season, and sometimes also models with minor defects such as makeup stains (which will probably not disappear even with dry cleaning), punctured or torn fabrics from improperly removed zippers, missing buttons, or frayed and torn seams.
For accessories such as bags and shoes, quickly go over the product, check that it has not faded from direct sunlight (very common among items made of synthetic material), and that the bag or belt clasps are not damaged. This inspection takes a few moments, and will save you frustration later or unwanted surprises when unloading your luggage back in Israel.
And now that we've learned a little about outlet stores in Paris, it's time to start providing you with recommendations and addresses.

Thank you very, very much! I eagerly read all of your articles and hope that one day the dates you will be in Paris will suit my ability to get to this wonderful city that I haven't been to in too many years.
Excellent
Well-written article. No stores were shown where you can find “dressed” clothes and not just sports and leisure fashion for teenage girls. A T-shirt is not “clothing”. There is no “Parisian fashion” or what people wear in Paris and no reference to stores of this type. The full address is missing – the district number: arrondissement. You didn’t give the district, you’re not a real Parisian.
The article is great and very useful. I don't have Facebook or Twitter, but I will forward it to my friends via email.
Excellent article! I also enjoyed the videos. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Paris.
If possible, it would be advisable to add an option to print the article.
Unfortunately, this option does not exist, but you can easily access any article from anywhere using your mobile phone.
Good morning, I would appreciate it if there was a reference to restaurants and patisseries that serve gluten-free food and pastries in Paris. Do you have a list? Thank you.
good morning.
I don't have such a reference at the moment, but maybe I will in the future.
