One of the most popular requests I get is for recommendations for family-friendly hotels in Paris. Perhaps because I’m an only child, or perhaps because I don’t have any children of my own yet, I’ve always found this one difficult to answer. To me, a hotel is either good or bad, regardless of the traveler mix. But for you, I decided to do some in-depth research among my loyal Francophiles and find out what really makes a hotel kid-friendly. Here are the results.
🏆 The 3 winning hotels for families (the quick pick)
What is important to check before booking a hotel for your family?
📍 Location and zero exchanges
Children's patience on the metro is a rare commodity. Look for hotels on major lines to get anywhere quickly and with minimal line changes.
🛏️ Large or connecting rooms
Rooms in Paris are very small. A family needs space, so look for hotels with large rooms or connecting rooms.

What do you think about an apartment instead of a hotel?
If you are traveling with a full family, an apartment is sometimes the smartest and cheapest solution. It is more spacious and allows you to manage your schedule at ease.
Well done.
Hey
We are 4 families. I am looking for a post you published about dividing into neighborhoods, what is recommended and what is not, and I can't find it.
I would love the link.
Thank you
