The 8th arrondissement is known to Israeli tourists because of the Champs-Elysees or the Chabad House, which is located not far away. It is considered an expensive district, but I was still able to find you recommended hotels for every budget.
Personally, I don't like living right on the Champs Elysees because the area is very touristy. I recommend checking out the parts closer toMonceau Park which are very sympathetic, or the areas close to the first district which are more central.
🏆 Francophile's Top Choices (AM;LC)
Four Seasons George V
The jewel in the crown. If budget is not a constraint – this is the ultimate experience with 3 Michelin restaurants.
Cloud
An intimate and charming boutique hotel with a clean and calm design, in the heart of the action of the district.
Elysees Ceramic
A historic Art Nouveau facade and a (relatively) reasonable price in a prime location near Arc de Triomphe And Parc Monceau.
If you decide to live here, I highly recommend visiting Rue Cler, one of the most important culinary streets in Paris (which appears on my Julia Child itinerary). Another option is to stroll through the neighborhood near the tower and enjoy the wonderful Art Nouveau architecture.
