The second arrondissement of Paris is a slightly less touristy district and has areas that can be considered a bit boring (such as the Bourse area). On the other hand, the proximity of parts of it to the culinary street of Montmartre makes the second arrondissement a good option when looking for hotels in Paris.

I agree with the recommendation for the Daunou Opéra Hotel. A small and lovely hotel located right next to the Opera and the metro station.
Access from this area to almost any destination is excellent. The hotel staff is nice and helpful with any request.
One more important thing to note, the room we had was small and cramped, and not as it appears in the picture.
Overall, I highly recommend it.
Small rooms are a bane of almost all hotels in Paris. Therefore, it is recommended to take a slightly larger room if possible (for example, if you are coming alone, then take a double room).
