I really like to travel inMontmartre, but we have to admit the truth: the 18th arrondissementParis It is a complex district. It has magical areas that look like a postcard, but it also has areas (like Barbès – Rochechouart) that are less pleasant to walk around at night.
The secret to a successful stay in Montmartre is the locationI recommend focusing on the streets area. Lepic Street and-AbbessesI discovered a wealth of excellent boulangerie, patisseries and food shops there. Another option (for those who want to keep fit) is to live close to the summit and the Sacré-Cœur, or “cheat” and sleep near the Lamarck metro station which is on the quieter back side of the hill.
To avoid "falls", I have only collected hotels for you here that are in the best and safest areas of the district.
🏆 Francophile's Top Choices (AM;LC)
The diamond of Montmartre. A modern hotel near Abbesses Street with the most beautiful rooftop bar in Paris (insane panoramic view).
The perfect combination: on the one hand, a minute's walk from lively Lepic Street, on the other hand, located in a quiet, pastoral alley.
For those looking to play it safe. A prestigious and solid chain in a prime location close to all the action and nightlife.
If you sleep in Montmartre, your morning must start on the street Martyrs Street או Lepic StreetBuy croissant Fresh and baked, and slowly climb towards the Sacré-Cer to see the city come to life from above.
