Main Menu

The 11th arrondissement in Paris, located not far from the Bastille, is considered a bit further from the center and therefore a bit cheaper. However, the truth is that it is a cool district that connoisseurs (including your faithful servant) really enjoy staying in.

First, the parts close to Bastille Square allow you to get there very easily. Marais District And stroll around it. Also, the Bastille area and trendy Oberkampf Street contain endless restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues, so if you're a party animal - this is the area to live in.

🏆 Francophile's Top Choices (AM;LC)

1

The General Hotel

A boutique hotel with spectacular modern design, attention to detail, and an excellent breakfast.

2

Moxy Paris Bastille

Young, cool and colorful. A Marriott hotel in a perfect location between Bastille and the Marais.

3

Hotel Paris Voltaire

A 2-star hotel with an elevator (rare!), clean, cheap and very close to the Marais and Place de la Voise.

💡 Zvi's tip:
A great reason to live in the 11th arrondissement is Aligre Market (Marché d'Aligre), my favorite market in Paris. It's a cheap and authentic food market that will fill your breakfast or brunch corner perfectly.

  1. Thank you for the excellent work you are doing, Zvi Hazanov, with your recommendations. Good luck in Malta. You can't abandon Paris from there either.
