Many people still search for the old term “Fast Pass” online, but it’s important to understand that the old, free system has been completely phased out. In its place, Disneyland Paris has launched a premium digital service that offers more flexibility, but requires a fee.
Disney's goal is clear: to allow those who are short on time (or have run out of patience after two hours of standing in line with a child who needs to pee) to pay for fast access to the most popular attractions. The service is divided into two main routes, and this is where your strategic planning begins.
Route 1: Disney Premier Access One – One Attraction at a Time
This route is essentially the “a la carte” method. You pay only for the specific attraction where you want to skip the line.

Did you enter the park, see that the line for Crush's Coaster was 90 minutes long, and your eyes went dark? You open the app, purchase fast-track entry to that attraction, get a specific time slot – and enter almost immediately through the fast-track line. The price is dynamic and ranges between 5 to 18 euros Per person, per single attraction.
The price varies depending on two factors:
- Season of the year: At the peak of August or during the Christmas holidays, prices will climb to the top.
- Attraction popularity: Highly sought-after rides, like Crush's Coaster at Studio Park or Peter Pan's Flight in Central Park, will always cost more than older or more sedate rides.
When is it worthwhile? When you visit on a relatively calm day, you've managed to do almost everything, and there are one or two attractions left that you just don't feel like spending an hour and a half on.
Route 2: Disney Premier Access Ultimate – The Ultimate VIP Experience
If you've only arrived in Paris for one day, the park is packed to the brim, and your goal is to "conquer" all the flagship facilities without wasting a minute, this route is tailor-made for you.
The Ultimate is a premium ticket that allows you to skip once at any of the main attractions included in the program (12 to 14 of the most popular attractions in both parks).
The huge advantage: Unlike the One route, here there is no need to chain time windows or depend on availability in the app at that moment. You simply arrive at the facility, scan your QR code – and get in. Complete freedom of action.
How much does it cost?
Hold on tight: the price ranges from 120 to 180 euros per person, per day (depending, of course, on the tourist season). Remember that this is a cost that is added toRegular park entrance ticket price.
When is it worthwhile? For families who are willing to invest to maximize a single day's experience in the park, or for travelers who want to feel (almost) like celebrities and are not willing to compromise on standing in lines under any circumstances.
The Technical Guide: How do you operate this magic?
Going digital requires some advance preparation. Don't leave it to the 90th minute (or to the spotty Wi-Fi connection in the checkout line). Here's what you need to do, step by step:
- Download the official app: Before your flight, download the Disneyland Paris app to your smartphone. Create a Disney account (or log in if you already have one from their streaming channel).
- Connect the entrance cards: Enter or scan the park entrance tickets of all family members or friends you want to ride with. It is important to link everyone to one account, so you can purchase a fast pass for everyone at the same time slot.
- Methods of Payment: Enter credit card details in advance in the app to save time at the moment of need.
- Purchase and scan: On the day of your visit (and only after you have physically entered the park for the One route), go to the Premier Access tab in the app, select the attraction and time. The app will generate for you QR code Which you will scan at the special entrance to the facility.
And what if we don't get along with smartphones? (or the battery runs out)
Don't worry, Disney has thought of that too. If you prefer the old-fashioned way of talking to real people, or your phone decided to come to life just as Captain Hook was passing by, you can purchase Premier Access physically:
- In Disneyland Central Park: Go to the stand. City Hall Located right at the entrance to the park (town square).
- At Walt Disney Studios Park: Go to the stand. Studio Services At the entrance.
The courteous staff (who are always smiling, because it's in their contract) will be happy to help you purchase the routes and print a physical voucher for you.
The Million Club: Private VIP Tour of Disneyland Paris
If the ultimate route isn't exclusive enough for you, and you really want to experience the park like a movie star (or you just recently won the lottery, and if so – hello, my new friends!), there is another option: Private VIP tour.
This is a close guide who will accompany you throughout the park and give you almost unlimited access to all the attractions, without any queues, and sometimes even to secret backstage entrances and reserved places in parades and night shows.
The pleasure costs about €399 per hour. (with a minimum commitment of two and a half hours), and up to 10 people can be included in the group. If you are a large group of friends or extended family who are splitting the expense – perhaps it is less fictional than it sounds, and the experience, it must be admitted, is simply unforgettable.
Strategy for the Israeli Traveler: 5 Tips from the Pros
So that you don't waste your money, I have compiled some ironclad rules for you for the correct use of the system:
- Arrive early (Extra Magic Time): If you are staying at one of the Disney hotels (you can read about them in detail atHotel guide on site), you are entitled to enter the park an hour before everyone else. Use this hour for the most popular attractions, and maybe save yourself the purchase of Premier Access later in the day.
- Don't pre-purchase the Ultimate without checking the queues: If you visit midweek in cold November, chances are the lines will be perfectly reasonable (20-30 minutes). It's a shame to spend hundreds of euros in advance. Check the traffic on the app in the morning, and decide in real time.
- Prioritize wisely (Crush's Coaster first): Finding Nemo is the undisputed “queue queen” at Disneyland Paris. The line for it can reach 120 minutes or more in almost any season. If there’s one ride worth investing in at Premier Access One, it’s this one. Next on the list: Peter Pan’s Flight and Big Thunder Mountain.
- Split forces in Single Rider: Many rides offer a “Single Rider” queue. If you don’t mind sitting next to strangers and experiencing the ride alone, this queue is usually significantly shorter than the regular queue, and it’s completely free!
- Wi-Fi and portable batteries: The park has Wi-Fi, but it can be slow on busy days. Make sure you have a data plan and a power bank. Constant use of the Disney app will drain your battery faster than you think.
Summary: Is the magic worth the money?
At the end of the day, your time on vacation is worth money. Is it still possible to buy tickets at the park box office on the day of arrival?
Absolutely not recommended! Buying tickets online in advance is both significantly cheaper and guarantees you entry in cases where the park is fully booked. Today, the box offices on site are intended mainly for cash payers or voucher holders, and the fine for them is reflected in a price that is tens of euros higher than the online price.
