Disneyland Paris: Secret Tips, Tickets, and What You Need to Know in 2026

💡 Quick Facts: Everything you need to know in 60 seconds

  • ❓ EuroDisney or Disneyland? It's the exact same place. The name has officially been changed, but the GPS knows both.
  • 💸 Ticket price in 2026: Starting at €56 for a midweek dated ticket.
  • 🚂 Travel time from Paris: 40 minutes by RER A train (Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy station).
  • 🥔 Kosher food: There are no active kosher restaurants in the park, but you can order pre-packaged meals or have them delivered from outside services to the park gate.
  • 📅 Best season: January and May are considered the months with the shortest queues.

If you were to ask Zvi a decade ago what he thought about Disneyland Paris, he would probably wrinkle his nose in typical Parisian disdain and tell you it was “a foreign, American plant that was wasting precious Parisian time” (and in between mumbling something about “cultural imperialism”). In fact, ever since that first visit when the place first opened, I’ve been ostentatiously boycotting it for years.

But then came 2022. I flew to Paris with a good friend, and took her on a “best of Zvi” trip – Gothic churches, hidden alleys in the Marais, and museums no tourist has ever heard of. At one point, she offered me a deal I couldn’t refuse: we’d keep traveling wherever I wanted (no complaints!), but in exchange – the next day I’d get on the RER with her and go to Disneyland.

Between us? I was surprised. When I stood in front of theChâteau de la Belle au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty's Castle), I realized that the French managed to do it in style. The park is sweet, the atmosphere is truly magical – if you can ignore the American commercialism for a moment – and the escapism works overtime.

So this guide was written not only based on in-depth and up-to-date research as of February 2026 (including the opening of World of Frozen And the change toDisney Adventure World), but from my personal experience as a skeptical Francophile who has learned to love (a little) this side of Marne-la-Vallee.

⚡ Critical Updates for 2026

  • ❄️ World of Frozen: Officially opens on March 29, 2026 at the second park (Disney Adventure World).
  • 🎥 Changing the name of the park: Studios Park is now officially called Disney Adventure World.
  • ⚠️ Pre-order required: The box office at the park is closed. Entry is by digital card only.
🚫 When not to come? (Busiest days in 2026)To avoid extreme crowds and queues of over two hours at the facility, try to avoid arriving atSchool holidays in France and the UK (especially late October, Christmas, and mid-February), as well as weekends (Saturday-Sunday) throughout the year. Tuesdays and Thursdays in January and May are considered optimal.

EuroDisney or Disneyland Paris? This is how you know where to go

Many of my readers ask “How do I get to EuroDisney?” while others search for “Disneyland Paris.” Let’s get this straight once and for all: This is the exact same place.

When the park opened in 1992, it was officially named EuroDisneyThis branding did not last long, and in the mid-90s it was changed toDisneyland Paris To romantically link it to the City of Lights. Despite this, the nostalgic name “EuroDisney” is strongly held by the Israeli public (and among quite a few Europeans as well), and many still use it today. So no matter what you type into Waze or Google Maps – both will lead you to the same magical castle in Marne-la-Vallee.

Where to sleep? Recommended hotels in and around Disneyland

Choosing a hotel can upgrade the experience from start to finish. Here's a quick comparison of the top options for 2026, and below that, an experiential breakdown of the places that are really worth exploring:

Hotel name Rating Distance from the park Who is it for?
disneyland hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ At the entrance to the park Maximum luxury and comfort
Disney's Hotel Santa Fe ⭐⭐ 20 min walk / shuttle A defined budget and families
Dream Castle Hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10 minutes by shuttle Families and value for money

🏆 The opening trio: Hotels worth checking out

(I.e.

Disneyland Hotel – The Royal Dream

This is the most luxurious Disney hotel in France. Beyond the crazy closeness (you literally sleep above the entrance), it offers the full princess experience. Recommended for those who want a once-in-a-lifetime vacation with character encounters right in the lobby.

For prices and booking

💰

Disney's Hotel Santa Fe – The best value in the bubble

Despite its modest rating, it offers the critical advantage: “Extra Magic Time” (early check-in). The “Cars”-inspired design is a hit with kids, and the price is the most attractive of the official hotels.

To check deals

🇧🇷

Dream Castle Hotel – a real castle at a reasonable price

A great sister hotel designed like a magical castle. It offers a great pool and frequent free shuttles to the park. My favorite choice for Israeli families looking for quality without breaking the bank.

Room reservation + free cancellation

Important to remember: When choosing a hotel, always check if breakfast is included. The price difference between an official Disney hotel and a partner hotel can reach hundreds of euros per night, money that can be used for shopping in the park or good restaurants.

Confused? There are many more options.

I've written a comprehensive review to help you choose the perfect hotel for your budget, including options in Paris itself.

Traditionalists: Kosher and Religiousness at Disneyland

Are there kosher restaurants at Disneyland Paris?

As of 2026, There is no active kosher restaurant within the parks. (There used to be a restaurant, but it closed.) However, Disney offers a solution: You can order hermetically packaged kosher dishes (under the supervision of the Datz/Glatt) at most table service restaurants and hotel restaurants.

Very important: It is mandatory to order the dish at least 1000 kshara. 48 hours in advance On the main phone for restaurant reservations: +33 1 60 30 40 50The dishes arrive frozen and heated on site, double-wrapped.

Is it possible to order kosher food delivery to the hotel?

Yes! There are several kosher restaurants in Paris that deliver to the Disneyland area (usually to the entrance gate or hotel lobby). It is recommended to check with restaurants such as Disney Cashcroute Or dedicated catering services operating in the Marne-la-Vallée area.

Where can I buy kosher products nearby?

One train station away (Val d'Europe) there is a huge shopping mall with a supermarket. AuchanThis supermarket has a large Kosher Aisle where you can stock up on snacks, canned goods, wines, and dry food.

I have a disabled card. Are there any concessions in the queues?

Absolutely. Disneyland Paris offers two types of accessibility tickets: Priority Card (For holders of an officially recognized disability certificate) andEasy Access Card (For those with one of 30 recognized chronic diseases). The tickets provide fast access to the facilities through a special queue. It is mandatory to register in advance on the official website (via the Nimbus system) and present documents in English/French at City Hall at the entrance.

What's the difference between the parks? And what's new in 2026?

Disneyland Paris consists of two separate parks, and the year 2026 brought with it the biggest change in the park's history. The change of Walt Disney Studios Park To-Disney Adventure World It is a strategic move designed to highlight the transition from “behind the scenes” of films to immersive storytelling based on Disney’s super brands.

  • Disneyland Park (the classic park): The park with the pink castle, the parades, and the classic must-haves like “Pirates of the Caribbean.” This is the heart of Disney.
  • Disney Adventure World (formerly the Studios): The second park has undergone a massive rebranding and upgrade. Here you will find the Avengers Campus and the new Frozen area.
❄️ New: Kingdom of Arendelle (World of Frozen)
Starting fromMarch 29, 2026, the new “Breaking the Ice” area opens at Disney Adventure World. It’s a stunning recreation of the village of Arendelle, with Elsa’s castle overlooking a new lake, and the “Frozen Ever After” boat ride. A must-see for fans!

What are the fees? Facility ratings

People come to Disneyland for the atmosphere, but they stay for the adrenaline. The big problem at Disneyland Paris is the imbalance between the number of visitors and the capacity of some attractions, which creates long lines. To avoid wasting 70 minutes on an attraction that you will leave disappointed, use the following table to prioritize your visit:

Facility name Park Experience type Minimum height
Frozen Ever After Adventure World Dark Ride Unlimited
Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain Disneyland Park Roller coaster (extreme) 1.20 m
Big Thunder Mountain Disneyland Park Family roller coaster 1.02 m
Avengers Assemble Adventure World Roller coaster (launch) 1.20 m

If you are a thrill seeker, don't miss the Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain (formerly Space Mountain) – a dark roller coaster with a space launch, and Big Thunder Mountain, the Wild West roller coaster, which is probably the most popular attraction in the park. In the second park (Disney Adventure World), the Crush's Coaster (Nemo's Turtles) is a must, but the line for it is always long, so run to it straight away in the morning.

However, if you have little ones with you, attractions like “Peter Pan” and “It’s a Small World” are classics that you shouldn’t miss. Don’t forget to visit the new Avengers Campus for an interactive experience with Spider-Man.

🎢 Additional details on the mandatory facilities (2026):

  • Frozen Ever After: A musical and exciting boat facility in the heart of the New Kingdom of Arendelle.
  • Avengers Assemble: Flight Force: Join Iron Man and Captain Marvel on a top-speed space mission.
  • Spider-Man WEB Adventure: Interactive spider web shooting using only hand gestures.
  • Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain: The fastest version of the mythical roller coaster.
  • Big Thunder Mountain: Located in the heart of the lake in Frontierland, it offers the most beautiful view in the park within a quick drive.

🎢 Full ranking: The facilities you shouldn't miss

Which is better – Phantom Manor or Pirates of the Caribbean? I made a detailed list.

👶 Tips for parents (how to survive with fun)Disneyland with small children can be a dream, but also a logistical nightmare if you don't prepare properly. First of all, take advantage of the service ofRider Swap: One parent waits with the small child who is not going up to the facility, while the other parent goes up. When the first one returns, they switch and the parent who was waiting enters immediately without a queue (via the fast track). Just ask the staff at the entrance to the facility. Second, know that there are Baby Care Centers. These are quiet, cozy corners for breastfeeding, changing diapers, and warming bottles in the microwave. This is the only place in the park where you can escape the noise and hustle and bustle for some peace and quiet with the toddlers. Don't be shy about using them.

How to get to Disneyland Paris? The extended guide

Disneyland Paris is located in a suburb called Marne-la-Vallée, about 32 km east of Paris. It sounds far away, but the French have built an excellent infrastructure that connects the park to the city.

🚆 Suburban train (RER A) – the winning option

This is the route chosen by 90% of locals and smart tourists. You should take the line RER A (Red Line) From central Paris. You can board it at major stations such as Charles de Gaulle – Étoile (Arc de Triomphe), Auber (near the Opera), Châtelet Les Halles or Gare de Lyon.

Pay attention to the direction of travel: you need a train heading in the direction Marne-la-Vallee – Chessy. The best trick? Look for the little Mickey Mouse icon on the electronic signs on the platform next to the station name. The ride takes about 35-40 minutes and brings you right to the park's entrance gate (a one-minute walk from security).

🚌 Airport Shuttle (Magical Shuttle)

If you're landing at Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly and want to get straight to Disney without having to lug your luggage through the Paris metro, the Magical Shuttle is a great solution. The buses are comfortable, run frequently, and drop you off at most Disney hotels and the park entrance. It's more expensive than the train, but the convenience is worth it, especially with kids.
