What makes it unique is that Rosemary, the owner, is nearby: she serves breakfast and gives real local recommendations, which is the exact opposite of the coded entrance that has become the norm in Paris. Around it spreads the most lively area in Paris after midnight: music venues, bars and cafes, andMontmartre Up the hill. And that's the caveat: the boulevard itself is busy, and on weekends the traffic and noise continue until the wee hours. I recommend asking for a room facing the inner courtyard rather than the street, and for those who are sensitive to noise, consider a completely different neighborhood.

Note that there is no air conditioning here, only a fan, which is the usual pattern for this chain. In August it is noticeable. I recommend them to a couple coming in the spring or fall and looking for complete independence.

Two things to know: cleaning is only included for stays of eight nights or more, and for shorter stays it is paid. Also, there is no oven in the kitchen, only an integrated microwave. I recommend asking for a unit that does not face the street, because the traffic in Coumartin is noticeable at night.

Daniel, who runs the place, is praised by guests for his availability and practical advice, and this is not taken for granted. The Prentien department store is right nearby, and Haussmann Saint Lazare station is six hundred meters away. Note that check-in is possible between three and ten in the evening, and that check-out is at ten in the morning, earlier than usual in Paris. I recommend planning your departure day accordingly and not relying on a late check-out.

I recommend finalizing the arrival time and number of keys with them weeks in advance, and not on the day of arrival.
