The 20th district is, in my opinion, “Paris for advanced students". I once lived in a lovely apartment that belonged to actress Noli Omar near the Alexandre Dumas metro station and I really enjoyed it. On the other hand, it is not touristy (except for the cemetery). Pere Lachaise) and it is far from the center. Recommended only if you are looking to experience Paris Otherwise, or if you found a particularly cheap deal.
So where should you live in the 20th arrondissement?
First, the Pere Lachaise area is charming to me, both because of the greenery and the rustic feel and because the “neighbors” are not supposed to make too much noise 🙂
Another option is to try living close to Boulevard de Charonne. This is a lively area with quite a few restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues.
Two small notes before we start:

2. Availability: Apartments are booked faster than hotels. If the apartment you liked is booked, try the next option or use the search links at the end of the article.
