Valletta, the capital Malta, is a fascinating city. Yet nearly 500 years of history are not walked through on foot. It is a vibrant city where, among its unique houses, magnificent palaces, and history that is everywhere, you can find quite a few restaurants and places to eat.
From Valletta, you can easily reach the three cities on the other side of the bay. You can also easily reach theSalima From there, by bus or on foot, you can reachSaint Julian's, the entertainment capital of the island. And finally, and most importantly, outside the walls of Valletta is Malta's main bus station. Just as all roads lead to Rome, so all buses go to Valletta.
If you love culture and are interested in discovering Malta and its secrets, Valletta is the perfect place to stay for you. To help you find an excellent hotel, I have collected for you a few recommended hotels. Most of the hotels are in the five and four star category, as hotels in Malta are relatively cheap compared toHotels in Paris For example, it is therefore recommended to invest a little and indulge.
The standard of hotels in Malta is slightly lower than that of France Therefore, many times a 4-star hotel will feel like a 3-star to you. This is why you will only find a few 2-star hotels and I do not recommend hotels rated XNUMX stars or lower, although they certainly exist in Malta.
Here is a list of recommended hotels in Valletta, the capital of Malta.
5-star hotels in Valletta
Hotel Phoenicia Malta
A luxurious hotel built in the 1920s, which includes an impressive garden (very rare in Malta) and even has a pianist playing in the lobby. Its location is simply great: at the city gates, right next to Valletta Central Station.
A boutique hotel with a total of 23 rooms, offering you a host of pampering options alongside an amazing view of the bay of Valletta and the three cities.
The only hotel located right in the heart of Valletta's old town, it is housed in a 17th-century palace and features a host of amenities, including a wonderful rooftop terrace.
A clean, simple, air-conditioned hotel in the city center. An excellent option for travelers looking for affordable accommodation in the heart of the capital.

Hello Zvi,
I enjoyed reading your website!
My husband and I booked flights for a vacation in Malta between October 18 and 24, 2019. We are 65-70 years old, and like to travel leisurely and also rest and wander.
I would be happy to advise you on where to stay overnight. I was thinking about the city of Volta, which I understand is a convenient hub for traveling from in terms of buses, as well as a beautiful, interesting, and bustling city.
On the other hand, I also wanted a beach or at least a sea view, and I'm not sure if there is one in Volta.
I would love to hear from you.
Thanks

Hi, hello!
I really enjoyed reading your explanations about Malta.
Although it is a great place for the summer, we were looking for a nice place to go for a different winter vacation…..and we decided to go to Malta. Opinions often range from boring to magical……
We took a deal that included a flight and a hotel, so the options are a bit limited.
I have a list of hotels, can you recommend a good one?
Santana Hotel
bay street hotel
Diplomat
dolmen
pebbles resort
Victoria Hotel
silver
By the way, we are 57 years old and the flight is on: 17.12
Thank you
I will rejoice in repentance

Behind every Parisian itinerary, historical recommendation, and article on the site are many hours of research and a great love for French culture. In order for me to continue to provide you with quality free content, the site is supported by affiliate links.
Flying soon? I would be very happy if you would place your orders through links in my articles and the "toolbox" I have prepared. The price for you remains exactly the same, you receive service from organizations that I recommend wholeheartedly, and the site receives a small commission that helps it continue to exist and flourish. Thank you for your support!
