The town of Sliema is, in my opinion, the best place to live while on holiday inMaltaAnd I say this not just because I live here myself.
Its location is perfect: right between lively St. Julian's and the capital Valletta (which you can reach by ferry in 5 minutes).
For shopping enthusiasts, the Tigne Point Mall, the largest in the country, awaits you here.

Therefore, my unequivocal recommendation is: **Only take 5-star hotels or at least 4**.
A 4-star hotel here sometimes feels like a 3 in Paris, and since prices are low (especially off-season), treat yourself to a 5-star – it’s worth it!

Very pleasant hotel with large and spacious rooms and an excellent breakfast. Those looking for a “back belly” will be happy to use the luxurious rooftop pool or the spa. The ferry to Valletta is a 5-minute walk away.

A quality boutique hotel from the same chain as the Palace Hotel. It enjoys the same location advantages and offers a large pool, rooftop terrace, and gym at a more affordable price.
