A few years ago, when I was working on the article for the Travel Magazine dealing withRomantic places in France, I was reminded of the cliché “The cobbler goes barefoot” (or in the Francophile version: the baker at the boulangerie is sensitive to gluten).
Why? Because I've never traveled to Paris with my lover.
Yes, more than thirty trips to Paris in all possible combinations, from wandering alone to traveling with a group of 12 lovely women, and only one thing I've never done before - walking around the city of lights in the arms of the one I want to grow old with.
In August 2014, I attended a lecture by Yuval Abramowitz, which dealt with the realization of dreams. To summarize a lecture that lasted several hours into a line and a half, one of the main points raised was that in order to achieve goals, one must create a list of them, because the written word creates a kind of commitment to achieving the goal.
Since I am very satisfied with my career and my bébé is growing nicely, I don't need a list. I only have one challenge left - to find love. So I decided to write myself a task: by next year I will find love and the love of my life and we will kiss inFürstenberg Square .

So who am I?
Many of you know me as the “Francophile,” the man who travels for pleasure in France and does everything he can to instill in you his love for the land of cheese and wine. Indeed, it is an important part of who I am, but here are a few things that some of you know about me and some of you don’t:

I was born in 1977, I have a master's degree in international relations from the Hebrew University, work as a Commercial Manager at Playtech, and live in Holon, although my greatest loves are Jerusalem and Paris.
I really like good food (it's just a shame I don't really know how to make it)
It's not surprising that someone who loves France And its culture since he was a child, very connected to the culinary world. You will find me constantly visiting the restaurants of Israel and France, and in my opinion there is no more pleasant evening pastime than a meal in good company.
Unfortunately, I may know how to find great restaurants, but when it comes to cooking… let's just say that in order to prevent physical and mental harm, it's better to go out to eat somewhere…
Food for the soul is just as important to me as food for the body.
I feel most comfortable in museums, churches, palaces, movie theaters, and concerts, and a day when I haven't read is, for me, a day wasted. Just before you think I'm a hopeless "prankster," I must say that I would be equally happy to spend an evening laughing out loud in front of "the 80s."
Extreme sports, race cars, surfing, and all sorts of interesting ways to kill yourself for a little more adrenaline? That's a little less me.
Who am I looking for?
You will probably immediately ask, does your future eternal love have to be a Francophile? As Shimon Peres, a self-professed Francophile, once said, “Yes and no.” The answer is “no,” because as much as a love for France is a tremendous advantage (because it’s great fun to share a common love), there are qualities that are much more important to me.
So what am I looking for? I don’t really connect with “grocery lists,” because in my experience, the greatest loves happen when you throw the lists in the trash. But if I had to write a list, this is what the perfect woman for me would look like:
- Age: 38-44.
- Lives in the Gush Dan area or Jerusalem (I live in Holon and work in Tel Aviv, but I spend a lot of time in the Jerusalem area, and I have a fantasy of returning to live there someday, so maybe you can make this fantasy come true for me? 🙂 ).
- Someone with an infectious joy of life.
- Intelligent, curious, can have a deep conversation, grow and develop. Has a developed sense of humor (self-humor is a big bonus).
- A woman who loves good food and knows how to enjoy the good things that life has to offer.
- Has a rich inner world. A huge advantage for a woman who has a hobby or anything else that turns her on.
- As I wrote, loving France is a bonus, but loving people, empathy, and emotional intelligence are a must (and if you love the four-legged ones, then in general…).
