The city of Nice has been one of the most visited cities in France since the 19th century. And rightly so. There is a gorgeous beach and a famous promenade called the “Promenade des Anglais,” known by its French name, “Promenade des Anglais.” Add to that an airport that allows direct flights, including from Israel, great food, museums, and architecture, and you’ll understand why millions of tourists visit this city every year.
The side effect of tourist success is of course an increase in hotel prices, which makes Nice To one of the least expensive destinations in France. But don't worry, I've collected a list of recommended hotels for you in a wide range of prices. From 2-star hotels, which will provide you with clean and pleasant rooms at reasonable prices, to 5-star hotels, if you decide to pamper yourself.

Luxury hotels in Nice
Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel
I visited this hotel in July 2023 and was very impressed with the new, luxurious design and the perfect service. The location is wonderful - a short walk from the old town and the beach. It is recommended to try the rooftop restaurant with its stunning view.
Boscolo Nice Hotel & Spa
Dr. Orna Lieberman's recommendation: A chic and expensive hotel, located on Sderot Victor Hugo Beautiful. Impressive building and beautiful rooms. Excellent location next to the main street and a few minutes walk from the tram station.
Hotel Le Negresco
It is impossible to write about hotels in Nice without mentioning the Negresco. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, it has become synonymous with luxury. The rooms are decorated in a variety of styles, from Louis XIV And modern. Including a private beach and the highest level of pampering.
Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Mediterranee
A luxurious hotel from the Hyatt chain located on the Promenade des Anglais. Includes a large swimming pool, hammam and sauna. Breakfast is served on the terrace facing the sea. The hotel complex also has a casino for those interested.

Mercure Nice Promenade Des Anglais
Located on the Promenade des Anglais with sea views but reasonably priced for such a location. Close to the old town (but a bit far from the tram). Excellent breakfast.
Palais Saleya Boutique hotel
A luxurious apartment hotel in an 18th-century building, near the entrance to the Old City and the promenade. Rooms with a fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine. Breakfast is served in the dining room. Friendly staff.
Hotel 66 Nice
4-star hotel in an early 20th century building, very close to the train station (20 min walk from the old city). Soundproof rooms and free soft drinks. Excellent value for money.
Hotel Nice Azur Riviera
4-star hotel in the center of Nice. Air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi and a bar. Close to the beaches: Plage Beau Rivage and Plage du Centenaire.
Hotel Le Grimaldi
Excellent location – 15 minutes from the flower market and 450 meters from the beach. Air-conditioned and soundproofed rooms. Continental breakfast and evening bar. Close to shopping.
Hotel Suisse
If you want the most beautiful view of Nice, this is the place (despite the distance from public transportation). Perfect for photographing sunsets over the old town and the promenade.
Mercure Nice Centre Notre Dame
Located on a quiet street off the main street, one tram stop from the center. Try to book a high floor with a balcony for a view of the church. Includes a rooftop pool and bar.
Holiday Inn Nice
4-star Holiday Inn hotel. Spacious rooms at reasonable prices in a great location on Bourgeois Street. 24/7 gym and access to private beaches.
The Deck Hotel
Excellent location: 5 minutes from the sea, Place Massena and the shopping street. Warm Mediterranean design. Air-conditioned rooms, buffet breakfast and a nice bar.
3-star hotels in Nice
Hotel Villa Les Cygnes
Boutique hotel in a villa near the Museum of Fine Arts. Provides free public parking (great base for stargazing). Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and reasonable price.
Hotel Villa Rose
A lovely hotel renovated in 2016, about 10 minutes by tram from the promenade. Free private parking and a recommended breakfast. Excellent base for trips.
Nice Garden Hotel
A family-run boutique hotel in a 19th-century house, not far from the Promenade des Anglais. Friendly staff and a lovely garden with orange trees where you can sit and relax.
ibis Styles Nice Center Gare
Solid Ibis hotel, near the train station (an advantage for those arriving without a car). Close to the shopping street and the beach. Lovely staff and a good breakfast.
Hotel La Villa Nice Promenade
A charming and well-designed hotel on a very quiet street, right next to the Promenade des Anglais. Rooms with all the comforts, free internet and an excellent breakfast. Excellent location.
Hotel Flots d'Azur
Family hotel in a great location right on the Promenade des Anglais. Clean, soundproof and air-conditioned rooms. Excellent option facing the sea.
Hôtel de la Fontaine
Three-star hotel in a great location near the sea and the pedestrian street. Friendly service, nice rooms and a good breakfast. Discounted tickets for a private beach can be purchased.
Hotel Lafayette
Simple and colorful hotel near Place Massena. Close to several synagogues (perfect for traditionalists). Great service from Maria and Marcel. *Please note: there is no elevator in the hotel*.

Hotel Du Centre
Lovely 2 star hotel, near the main shopping street and about 15 minutes from the sea. Clean rooms, friendly staff and even free toiletries. Perfect for the budget traveler.
Villa Saint Hubert
A modest hotel in a suburb of Nice (2 km from the promenade), near a light rail station that goes to the center. Clean rooms with free internet and friendly service. An excellent, inexpensive option.
