If there is one sport I hate, it is running, especially marathons. I have always considered running more than 40 kilometers to be the perfect torture, which makes every muscle and organ in your body (including those you have never known) scream Hamas. There is no doubt that no power in the world will make me run a marathon, at least that is what I thought until I heard about the Medoc Marathon…
42.195 km is the length of the Meduk Marathon course, but that's where the similarities to other marathons end. The first difference lies in the attire of the runners. Race participants are asked to come in costume, and the crazier the costume, the better. Instead of the usual refreshment stations where participants are given bottles of water, this marathon has 20 stations where participants are given glasses of fine wine, which is not surprising at all considering the fact that the course runs through the best vineyards in the region. BordeauxThere is no doubt that with such refreshment stations, Olympic records are not set in the field of running...Food lovers are also not left out of the race thanks to the meals of corruption based on the pure cuisine of the Southwest. France, based on foie gras, sausages, and other healthy things, so this is probably the only marathon where you will probably gain weight instead of losing it.
