Accommodation in Tours – Recommended hotels and vacation apartments
Main Menu

In this article you will find the most recommended hotels in the city of Tours, carefully selected (only those with a score of 8 or higher made the list). I have arranged them by categories: starting with the most luxurious, continuing with the Value for Money hotels, and ending with cheap but high-quality options. And of course, I did not forget the apartment lovers.

Zvi's tip: Tours has a huge advantage – it’s a major transportation hub. If you don’t want to drive, just take a train from Paris (or Nantes), base yourself here and go stargazing in comfort with public transportation. Easy and simple.

Luxurious 4-star hotels

If you want to feel a little like royalty French (But with air conditioning and Wi-Fi), these are the places for you.

Hotel Les Tresorières

A relatively new 5-star hotel (but at a price that doesn't require a second mortgage) that is considered one of the best in the city. The design is gorgeous, there's an indoor pool and spa, and the location near the covered market (Les Halles) means you'll always be close to good food.

Oceania L'Univers Tours

An old and prestigious establishment (since 1846!) that has hosted many celebrities. The lobby is very impressive, the rooms have undergone a modern upgrade, and there is a pampering spa. The location is perfect – two minutes from the train station.

Château Belmont Tours

Want to sleep in a 17th-century palace but stay in the city? This is the place. Located in a huge green park (a little outside the noisy center), with a heated pool and spa. A winning combination of nature and pampering.

(I.e.

Hilton Garden Inn Tours Center

A new and shiny hotel in a strategic location by the river. If you like the familiar and good American standard (spacious rooms, strong air conditioning, rich breakfast) – go for it without hesitation.

Recommended 3 star hotels

The most popular category in Tours. Cozy, clean hotels in good locations.

(I.e.

Ferdinand Hotel Tours

A small boutique hotel full of style. The design is nostalgic and cool, the staff is super nice, and the atmosphere is very homey. Please note: there is no elevator (so less suitable if you brought the whole house in a suitcase), but the place is worth it.

(I.e.

Best Western Plus Artist Hotel

Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the train. The design is dedicated to cinema and art (hence the name). The rooms are very comfortable, and there is a small gym for those who must burn off their morning croissant.

????

Castel Fleuri

On the other side of the river (quieter area), a short walk from the centre. This is a lovely family hotel with an old world feel. There is free parking on the nearby streets, which is a huge bonus for those arriving by car.

Cheap and recommended hotels (2 stars)

Who said you have to pay a lot to get a good night's sleep? Here are some places that offer fantastic value for money.

Hotel Colbert

Don't let the 2 stars fool you, this is a 9.0 rated place on Booking! Cute little hotel in a beautiful garden, in a quiet location near the cathedral. The owners are lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed. A real gem.

📍

Hotel L'Adresse

Located in the heart of the old town (Vieux Tours), where all the action and restaurants are. It is an old building (18th century) with steep stairs (no elevator), but the rooms are full of character and the location is simply unbeatable.

Recommended holiday apartments in Tours

A great solution for families or for those who want to feel local and buy a fresh baguette in the morning for their private kitchen.

Central Park

Very clean and spacious apartments, with a huge advantage in the summer: air conditioning! The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is private parking (for a nominal fee or free on the street, depending on availability). Very suitable for families.

🏠

Le Colbert Studio / Triplex

Owned by the same owners as the excellent Hotel Colbert. Lovely studios or duplex (triplex) apartments, located in a quiet courtyard near the cathedral. Clean, cozy and feels like home.

👼

Ô Tour's Angels

A popular, split-level apartment with a small private garden – great fun to sit outside with a glass of wine in the evening. There is a full kitchen and a washing machine, which is a lifesaver on long trips.
