Can Israeli passport holders enter France?
Starting January 15, 2022, Israelis (vaccinated) will be able to enter France.
Do adults have to be vaccinated to enter France?
Until recently, the unequivocal answer was YesHowever, starting from the end of April 2022, according to This articleIt seems that the situation has changed and now even an unvaccinated person can enter France subject to a test (it doesn't say if it's a PCR or antigen test, so as long as the issue is unclear, I would recommend a Pisiar) and a declaration that you have no symptoms of coronavirus.
However, since the official websites of the French government (links to which you can find at the end of the article) still say that one must be vaccinated in order to enter, I I really wouldn't recommend unvaccinated people to fly to France.In the best case, there is a chance that you will not be allowed to enter (although there is quite a bit of evidence of unvaccinated people who did enter), in the worst case, you will enter France, get sick with Corona and be forced to be in isolation, and in the worst case, you will end up in the hospital.
If you have been vaccinated 3 or more times, there is no need for a test and all you have to do is present your Corona certificate, which can be produced On the website of the Ministry of Health.
What about children?
- Children between 0-12 are under the status of their parents, meaning, if the parents are vaccinated, then they are treated as if they were vaccinated.
- From what I recently understood, children aged 13-18 do need to be vaccinated in order to enter France. This information is based on a case of someone who was forced to cancel her flight after receiving a notice from the embassy that her children aged XNUMX-XNUMX would not be able to enter France without vaccination. On the other hand, I have not yet found any reference to this on any official website, so until I find a reference to this, I highly recommend trying to contact the French consulate in Israel and check..
- Vaccinated children are treated like vaccinated adults.
Is quarantine necessary after arriving in France?
Currently, there is no need for quarantine if arriving directly from Israel.
Please note: If you are not coming directly from Israel, you are welcome to visit this link and check if there is a restriction or special requirement for people coming from that country (unfortunately, I do not have the time or ability to update the instructions for each country you came from, and I am only focusing on the instructions regarding people coming from Israel).
Entering France during the Corona pandemic
What forms do I need to fill out before flying to France?
Since there are no more red countries, there is no need to fill out a form to leave the country, but there is still a need to fill out a form to return to Israel (more on this later).
Regarding entry into France, as of April 2022, there is no need to fill out any form on the subject (I flew there and they didn't even ask me to fill out an entry form for France on the plane).
Do I need to take a coronavirus test before flying to France?
According to French government decision, starting from February 12.2.2022, XNUMX, vaccinated tourists from Israel, which is currently considered an orange country, do not need to take an antigen or PCR test before entering France and all they have to do is show your Corona certificate (I received official confirmation of this from the French consulate in Israel).
As I wrote before, if you are not vaccinated, you should get a coronavirus test (PCR is recommended).
Where is it recommended to get a coronavirus test before flying?
Starting in November 2021, coronavirus tests can be performed inside Ben Gurion Airport through Pangea. There are two tests:
- A standard test that gives results within 14 hours. Its price is 89 NIS.
- Express test, the results of which are received within 4 hours and the price is 149 NIS
The tests are conducted in parking lot 28 at Ben Gurion Airport and can be reached on foot or by car (drive-in).

In addition, the tests can be done outside Ben Gurion Airport using Check2Fly Company, whose prices are slightly cheaper (75 NIS for a test whose results are received within 14 hours and 135 NIS for a test whose results are received within 4 hours).
Another option is to get tested for coronavirus at one of the branches of theSuper Pharm.
Do I need to order a coronavirus test in advance for my return to Israel?
According to a government decision, starting May 20, 2022, there is no need to take a PCR test at Ben Gurion Airport when returning to Israel from France.
If you return before then, you still have to do the test. If you didn't pre-order, you can pay at Ben Gurion Airport, but that means unnecessary pain and waiting in lines. Therefore, it is recommended to pre-order the test before you fly, get a barcode, which will be scanned before the test, and save yourself a headache.
Corona guidelines within France itself
What is the condition of restaurants, shops and cultural institutions?
Today, all cultural and leisure institutions (except discos) are open. Restaurants offer seating both inside and outside.
Do I have to book tickets in advance for museums and attractions?

Do I need to show a vaccination certificate when entering museums, restaurants and other enclosed spaces?

Is it possible to travel within France?
Currently there is no restriction on travel within France and this can be done by rented car, buses or trainsOf course, it is recommended to check the infection status in the area you wish to visit beforehand, in order to avoid any inconveniences (for example: arriving at a place and discovering that a curfew has just been imposed there, or that the restaurants have closed).
What should you do before returning to Israel?
What tests should be done before returning to Israel?
According to the last government meeting, starting March 1, 2022, there will be no need to take an antigen or PCR test before the return flight (the PCR test at Ben Gurion Airport is still required). I am leaving the information below regarding the tests in case we need it in the future (hopefully never).
Starting November 26.11.2021, 48, it is sufficient to take a simple antigen test up to 24 hours before the flight (XNUMX hours is recommended for safety reasons), in order to board the plane to Israel (it is still necessary to take a PCR test when landing in Israel, and we will talk about this later).
Antigen tests can be done at pharmacies in Paris, and since there is one on almost every street, I am not recommending a specific place here. All you have to do is look for the green cross, which indicates that the store is a pharmacy, go in, and ask for an antigen test.
The price of an antigen test ranges from 20-30 euros.
Where can I get a PCR test done in France?
If, however, you would like to do a PCR test, you can find it atFrench Ministry of Health website A map showing the location of the coronavirus laboratories in each city in France. The website is in French, but it is quite easy to use (you simply enter the name of the place you are in and it shows you all the laboratories on the map). The test must be done 72 hours before the flight and make sure that your passport number appears on the test results.
For the benefit of your mental health: Do not postpone the test until 24 hours before the flight, although it is possible. Sometimes there are glitches (for example: test results that arrive in the wrong place or do not arrive on time) and there have already been stories of people who were unable to board the flight to Israel because they did not have the test results sheet. Therefore, do yourself a favor and try to take the test 3 days before the flight, so that you have room for maneuver for mistakes and unplanned things.
Do I need to fill out an electronic form before returning to Israel?
Yes, you must fill out the form found at this link, 24 hours before your flight. Without filling out this form, you will not be allowed to check in, so instead of filling it out in a panic at the airport, it is recommended to do it in the comfort of your hotel or apartment.
Do you need to take a coronavirus test when you land in Israel?
Since May 2022, there is no need to take a coronavirus test when landing in Israel.
Is it necessary to stay in isolation after returning to Israel from France?
In the past, when there were coronavirus tests at the airport, it was necessary to stay in isolation until you received the answer. Today, this is no longer necessary, because there are no more coronavirus tests anyway.
What happens if you feel unwell in France, get a coronavirus test and come out positive?
In this case, you should contact your insurance company and ask them for a list of doctors who practice where you are and who work with the company. The doctor you choose will explain to you how many days of isolation you need and will provide you with a certificate of recovery at the end of the isolation period. With this certificate, you can fly back to Israel, without the need for a PCR or antigen test.
Where can I live during quarantine?
Unfortunately, not every hotel agrees to house people who test positive for COVID-19. My recommendation is that if you test positive, you should try to rent an apartment in an apartment hotel, where you will have a comfortable and relatively large apartment and at the same time you will be able to receive reception services.

Regarding the Israeli note: From what I understand there is a bit of anarchy with this and some places will accept it and some won't. 1. Usually between 15 and 30 minutes. So yes, you can do it in the morning.
2. We received the results printed, but I think it is also possible to show the results file via mobile, and that is fine.
3. PCR costs around 40 euros (last time I checked). Antigen is around 20 (if I'm not mistaken).
4. You don't need to make an appointment. There are plenty of pharmacies and you just have to go in and ask for the test. If you want to be at ease, then it is recommended that on the first day or two of the trip, when you find a pharmacy close to the hotel, go in there and ask them if they specifically require an appointment in advance (just to be sure).
5. Download the Ministry of Health's coronavirus certificate (there is a link in the article) and that is enough.

I didn't quite understand the first question. Indeed, in Israel they recognized that people recovering from Corona may test positive, and therefore they are exempt from testing for several months after recovery. As far as I know in France, this is not the case and it is necessary to test even those recovering.
