Bordeaux and the surrounding area – information for travelers

I discovered the city of Bordeaux in September 2019 and simply fell in love with it. Because it is filled with so much beauty, attractions, and good food, I decided to dedicate an entire chapter to it.

Bordeaux has a rich history that includes everything a good action movie needs: wars (between France and England), excellent food, and lots and lots of beauty. Despite all that Bordeaux It was not on the map of most Israelis, mainly due to the lack of direct flights to the city, which made getting there complicated.

Fortunately, this problem was solved a few years ago and today you can get to Bordeaux directly and enjoy its charms. So whether you are here for a weekend or a longer trip, I hope this guide will be helpful to you.

Flights to Bordeaux

Until 2020, there were direct flights from Tel Aviv to Bordeaux, but they were discontinued due to the Corona pandemic. At the same time, direct flights to Toulouse were added, but unfortunately they were also discontinued. Therefore, the easiest way to get to Bordeaux is by Flight to Paris And from there take a train.
