There is no place more magical in the world than Paris at Christmas.
This is why I try to visit the city of lights in November-December when the Christmas markets open and every afternoon the city is illuminated with lighting that makes it an even more magical place than it is during the day. In order to maximize the Christmas experience, we will wait for the sun to set and start the trip on the Champs Elysées . There we will visit the main Christmas market in Paris, which is a combination of festive beauty and a culinary experience. From the Christmas market, we will continue and visit the Place de la Concorde and the Place de Vendome, which are beautifully illuminated and tell the story of the colorful characters who lived there. From there, we will walk through the boulevards and see the Opéra Garnier illuminated in all its glory. We will end the tour at the prestigious Galeries Lafayette, which will be decorated especially for the holiday, and if we have time, we will go up to the roof of the Printemps department store and look out over the sparkling Paris spread out before us. The tour will take place in the afternoon after the sun sets so that we can enjoy the special street lighting that makes Paris a particularly magical place.
