Who is the Francophile?
Very nice! My name is Zvi Hazanov, but everyone calls me the Francophile. I have been in love with France since I was 8 years old, I earned a degree in French culture at the Hebrew University, and in 2013 I founded the website “Francophiles Anonymous” where I share my love and knowledge (and that of other experts) on everything related to France and its culture.

Not just Francophiles: meet the experts
True, I spent most of my sleepless nights in front of the keyboard — but to make “Francophiles Anonymous” the most comprehensive website in Israel, I enlisted the help of talented friends.
Over the years, the site has hosted great writers and experts in their fields — such as Dr. Oren Lieberman, Yoel Tamanlis, Ruthie Shimoni , and many others — who contributed their vast knowledge of history, culture, and culinary arts.
Meet our team of experts »The Francophile community on Facebook
Over the years, the community has grown, and so that you can get focused answers, I have set up dedicated Facebook groups for each district. There we answer questions, help plan routes, and exchange experiences. You are welcome to join!
